How Long Does a Real Estate Photo Shoot Take?
One of the first questions agents ask us is how long we'll be at the property. For a standard Proper Lens shoot — 25 to 30 HDR photos — plan on 60 to 90 minutes on site.
What changes the timing
- Property size: a 1,200 sq ft condo moves fast; a 4,000 sq ft listing with a finished basement takes longer.
- Readiness: a photo-ready home (lights on, counters clear, beds made) can shave 20 minutes off the visit. Send sellers our photo-ready checklist 48 hours ahead.
- Add-ons: a Zillow 3D tour adds about 15 minutes. A cinematic video tour adds 30 to 45 minutes.
How we keep it predictable
We confirm the shoot window by email before arrival, work room by room so nothing is missed, and deliver every photo within 24 hours. If you're stacking showings or a stager the same day, tell us when you book and we'll plan the order of rooms around your schedule.
